Pregnant man talking to family

Start the day in our IMAX 3D Cinema where you will see our beautifully shot film The Human Body 2D, where you will follow food from the mouth to the stomach, see body heat, watch hair grow and cringe at a spot being squeezed, all on a screen taller than four double-decker buses! The film follows a day in the life a family, including a teenager and his pregnant aunt; the references to human reproduction have given this film a PG rating.

You can then request free places at the following drama performance (subject to availability):

Push Harder, Mr Jones: the world’s first pregnant man

Meet Mr Jones... and his rather convincing ‘baby bump’!

Discuss the social and ethical questions arising from such a pregnancy, and seize the chance to ask him your burning questions. An incredible piece of interactive performance that will leave you pondering the consequences of male pregnancy.

Don’t forget to visit the Who Am I? gallery to experience real objects and touch screen interactives that help you explore what makes our bodies so unique.

Alternatively, see how medicine and surgery have changed through time in the Glimpses of Medical History gallery.
